[Korea] Join in on a Bowl of Warm Red Bean Porridge!

On December 15, the National Folk Museum of Korea will be demonstrating dongjigosa, Korea’s traditional ritual performed to chase away evil spirits using red bean porridges. A bowl of red bean porridge will also be offered to visitors during the red bean porridge sharing event.

Another exciting winter solstice festival will be held in Namsangol Hanok Village on the actual day of winter solstice, December 21, with pungmul (folk music) performances, red bean porridge tasting event, wishing cards event, and more.
 
As for the Korean Folk Village, celebration will take place beginning from December 17. Visitors can expect cultural events, namely red bean porridge sharing event and traditional tree decoration event, as well as fun events such as red bean porridge eating contest and haunted house.
